GUAP present founder of Comuzi and tech wizard Alex Fefegha, lecturer on black British film Clive Nwonka from London School of Economics, and Anamik Saha, who leads the MA Race, Media and Social Justice at Goldsmiths College. Anamik has just published his first book, Race and the Cultural Industries, on Polity Press.
Part of an ongoing series, Young Kings invites us to challenge outmoded narratives about masculinity, blackness, and culture. A safe space for sharing knowledge, experiences, stories, and skills, the events are offered to young men aged 16-24 years. Each session focuses on developing professional practice, increasing awareness, exchanging knowledge, or building skills.
Young Kings events are relaxed and informal, with light refreshments provided and plenty of time to chill to a GUAP playlist. You’ll leave inspired, better networked, and equipped to take your creative, political, or entrepreneurial ideas to the next level!
